Simple soap, water, and hand drying are all that is needed to clean your cutting board. If you feel your board has been stained by whatever seasoning you were using, do not be afraid to scrub with the abrasive side of the sponge. Note: do not use steel wool on your cutting board. If you notice your board looking a little dull, you may refinish it with mineral oil or pure tung oil. Reapplying oil to your board is very simple. Apply a small amount of oil straight onto the cutting board (you can always add more if you need it). Using a rag, washcloth, or paper towel, distribute and rub the oil onto the board. Let it sit for about 15 minutes, then buff off any excess, and your board should look just as beautiful as when you first got it.
